CoverGrrlz welcome new bassist "Knoxzilla"!
Big CoverGrrlz news... Well-known Bay Area talent Debra "Knoxzilla" Knox has joined the CoverGrrlz! She will be rockin' the "monster bass" with us, as founding member WIN! The Bass Maiden has gone on to pursue other musical horizons.
We're thrilled to have Knoxzilla on board, and look forward to rocking the upcoming season with her dynamic playing and singing!

CoverGrrlz at the Western Fair Association Trade Show
CoverGrrlz are excited to present a mini-rock 'n' roll show at the Western Fair Association trade show on January 25th in Reno. We're bringing a special showcase of "Rock Hits with Glitz" to these great folks who keep the West Coast entertained all summer long (by booking fun bands that entertain all-ages - that's US!)

CoverGrrlz/Blue Oyster Cult rematch
Hot off the press! We are lucky to have a little rematch with the BOC guys at this year's Stockton Asparagus Festival on April 24. We had such fun opening for Blue Oyster Cult at Slim's, we're are excited to do it again! The Stockton Asparagus Festival is a great time and worth the drive. CoverGrrlz at "A Taste of the Marketplace" Sep. 12
CoverGrrlz will be performing at "A Taste of The Marketplace" on Saturday, September 12.
The event will be held at the Marketplace shopping center in San Ramon, at the corner of Bollinger Canyon & Alcosta Blvd.
There will be activities for the kids, food and beverage sampling, a raffle and live music! (us!)
Tickets are $15.00 per person and $25.00 per couple. Children 12 and under are free.
Tickets can be purchased at Just A Little Something Gift Shop and Verizon Wireless -- at the Marketplace -- for $5.00 off each ticket, up until the day before the event. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce.

CoverGrrlz drummer Tymber will be the special guest this Friday, June 26 on the Bone's guest DJ segment, "Hey, Mom! I'm on the Bone!" with the Bone's Steven Seaweed!
She'll be sending out a little extra CoverGrrlz love by rockin' the airwaves with "Ramble On," a cut off our new CD and spinning a great setlist during the lunch hour!
Tune in to 107.7 The Bone from 12-1pm to listen.
The Grrlz kicked off the season last Saturday at the Livermore Wine Country Festival, debuting some of our new tunes for the crowd out enjoying a respite between rainstorms. We've posted a couple videos from the show on our mySpace page if you're curious. We'll be debuting in Marin County next weekend at San Rafael's May Madness Classic Car Parade, so come on down and check it out!
A big CONGRATULATIONS to the CoverGrrlz lead singer, Kat Velour and her husband on the birth of their newborn baby Grrl! Kitten Velour arrived in early March healthy, happy and ready to rock.
The benefit show on Jan. 24 will be our last show for a few months, as we're hitting the woodshed for the first quarter of 2009 to freshen up our setlist with more classic hits! So stay tuned!
Last Saturday, CoverGrrlz joined Moreality, Paradise City, Wildside and Powerage in a benefit concert for Michael Lingenfelter's children, who lost their father in an motorcycle accident. It was a grand success, and the room was full to the brim with support for Michael's family, and the Grrlz were proud to be a part of helping Michael's children.
